Ingredients

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup diced apples (about 2 small apples)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar. Whisk until thoroughly blended.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
  4. Gently fold in the diced apples, making sure they are evenly incorporated into the batter.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes.
  2. Using a spoon, drop dollops of batter into the air fryer basket, leaving space between each fritter for expansion.
  3. Cook for about 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown.
  4. Remove from the air fryer, let cool slightly, and then drizzle with your favorite glaze or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
