Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas, mashed The riper, the better!
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk Can substitute with almond milk or any milk of your choice.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • as needed spray cooking spray for the air fryer
Optional Coating
  • to taste cinnamon-sugar mix For coating the donut holes.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your Air Fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Then add the milk and vanilla, mixing until creamy.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. A few lumps are okay!
  5. Form small balls of dough (about 1–1.5 inches in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
Cooking
  1. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place donut holes in the basket, ensuring they don’t overcrowd.
  2. Air fry for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. While warm, toss the donut holes in a cinnamon-sugar mix or dust with powdered sugar.
Serving
  1. Let the donut holes cool slightly and enjoy while they’re warm!
