Ingredients

Brownie Batter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use semi-sweet or dark chocolate for richer flavor.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 2 large eggs Room temperature for best mixing.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For flavor enhancement.
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Sifted for better mixing.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Balances sweetness.
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder For leavening.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and butter. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted.
  2. Once melted, remove from the microwave and let cool slightly. Stir in the granulated sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually fold this mixture into the chocolate mixture until smooth.
  4. Grease an air fryer-safe baking pan or line it with parchment paper. Pour the brownie batter into the pan, spreading it evenly.
Cooking
  1. Place the pan in the air fryer basket. Cook at 320°F (160°C) for about 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Once cooled, slice into squares and serve.

Notes

Store leftover brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also refrigerate them for up to a week or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the air fryer at low heat to refresh the gooey texture.
