Preparation
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and butter. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted.
- Once melted, remove from the microwave and let cool slightly. Stir in the granulated sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually fold this mixture into the chocolate mixture until smooth.
- Grease an air fryer-safe baking pan or line it with parchment paper. Pour the brownie batter into the pan, spreading it evenly.
Cooking
- Place the pan in the air fryer basket. Cook at 320°F (160°C) for about 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cooling and Serving
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Once cooled, slice into squares and serve.
Notes
Store leftover brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also refrigerate them for up to a week or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the air fryer at low heat to refresh the gooey texture.
