Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
Coating Mixture
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch) Panko breadcrumbs will give extra crunch.
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds Toasted in the last minute of cooking.
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed Cooking spray or olive oil To spray the air fryer basket.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by cutting your boneless, skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
Coating
  1. Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, letting the excess drip off, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  2. Place the chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer (cook in batches if necessary).
  3. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  4. In the final minute of cooking, sprinkle sesame seeds over the top of the chicken.
Serving
  1. Once golden brown and crispy, remove from the air fryer and serve with your favorite dipping sauce or drizzle with soy sauce.

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, reheat in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes at 375°F (190°C). Freeze uncoated chicken for up to 3 months.
