Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1.5 cups crushed chocolate chip cookies
  • 0.5 cups melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
For the filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 0.5 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed chocolate chip cookies, melted butter, and sugar until mixed well.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 7-inch springform pan.
Mix the Filling
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and chocolate chips just until combined.
Assemble the Cheesecake
  1. Pour the cheesecake filling over the cookie crust in the springform pan.
  2. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Air Fry the Cheesecake
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. Place the pan in the air fryer basket and cook for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is set and edges are slightly golden.
Cool and Serve
  1. Allow the cheesecake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing the springform.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. For a twist, add nuts or a drizzle of caramel sauce. Monitor cooking time as air fryers vary.
