Method
Prepare the Crust
- In a medium bowl, combine the crushed chocolate chip cookies, melted butter, and sugar until mixed well.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 7-inch springform pan.
Mix the Filling
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and chocolate chips just until combined.
Assemble the Cheesecake
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the cookie crust in the springform pan.
- Smooth the top with a spatula.
Air Fry the Cheesecake
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Place the pan in the air fryer basket and cook for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is set and edges are slightly golden.
Cool and Serve
- Allow the cheesecake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing the springform.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. For a twist, add nuts or a drizzle of caramel sauce. Monitor cooking time as air fryers vary.
