Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko works great for added crunch!)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray for crisping up

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by cutting your chicken breasts into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Blend them well.
  3. Dip the chicken cubes into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  4. Thread the coated chicken pieces onto skewers, soaking wooden skewers in water beforehand.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and spritz the basket with olive oil spray.
  2. Place the skewers in a single layer and cook for about 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  3. Once cooked, carefully remove the skewers and let them cool for a minute before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken cubes in olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs for at least 30 minutes before coating. Use panko breadcrumbs for the best texture and be sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for optimal crispiness.
