  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably whole wheat for crunch)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 large tortillas (flour or whole wheat)
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Dip each chicken strip into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to ensure it sticks.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the breaded chicken strips in a single layer, avoiding overlap.
Cooking
  1. Air fry the chicken for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
  2. While the chicken is cooking, take a tortilla and sprinkle mozzarella cheese in the center.
  3. Add cooked chicken on top of the cheese. Customize with additional ingredients if desired.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll from the bottom up to form a wrap.
  5. Place wrapped tortillas seam-side down in the air fryer. Air fry for another 5 minutes until golden.
  6. Let the wraps cool for a minute, then slice in half and serve.

Notes

Double breading for extra crunch: dip in scrambled eggs before breadcrumbs. For a creamier experience, use fresh mozzarella but ensure it's well-drained. Adjust cooking times as air fryers can vary.
