Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Dip each chicken strip into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to ensure it sticks.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the breaded chicken strips in a single layer, avoiding overlap.
Cooking
- Air fry the chicken for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
- While the chicken is cooking, take a tortilla and sprinkle mozzarella cheese in the center.
- Add cooked chicken on top of the cheese. Customize with additional ingredients if desired.
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll from the bottom up to form a wrap.
- Place wrapped tortillas seam-side down in the air fryer. Air fry for another 5 minutes until golden.
- Let the wraps cool for a minute, then slice in half and serve.
Notes
Double breading for extra crunch: dip in scrambled eggs before breadcrumbs. For a creamier experience, use fresh mozzarella but ensure it's well-drained. Adjust cooking times as air fryers can vary.
