Preparation
- Start by peeling and dicing your apples into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sugar until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then add the milk and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Then fold in the diced apples.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for about 5 minutes while you prepare the fritters.
- Using a spoon or your hands, form small patties or mounds of the batter.
Cooking
- Place the fritters in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd them.
- Air fry for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden brown.
Serving
- Once cooked, remove them from the air fryer and dust with powdered sugar while they’re still warm.
Notes
