Preparation
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Optionally, use chicken tenders for a more uniform shape.
- Set up a dipping station with one bowl containing beaten egg and another with a mix of breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- Dip each piece of chicken in the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture for a crispy crust.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the coated chicken pieces in a single layer, allowing space between each nugget. Lightly spray the tops with olive oil.
- Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let the nuggets cool for a minute and serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 350°F (175°C) until hot. These nuggets freeze well for up to 2 months.
