Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko can be used for extra crunch.
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 large egg Beaten.
  • to taste Cooking spray or olive oil spray For air frying.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Optionally, use chicken tenders for a more uniform shape.
  2. Set up a dipping station with one bowl containing beaten egg and another with a mix of breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Dip each piece of chicken in the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture for a crispy crust.
  2. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the coated chicken pieces in a single layer, allowing space between each nugget. Lightly spray the tops with olive oil.
  3. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Let the nuggets cool for a minute and serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 350°F (175°C) until hot. These nuggets freeze well for up to 2 months.
