Ingredients
  

For Chocolate Lava Cake
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter For melting
  • 1 tablespoon flour Plus more for dusting
  • 2 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips For the cake
  • 1 tablespoon sugar To sweeten the batter
  • 1 large egg yolk To bind the ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract For flavor
For Apple Fritters
  • 1 small apple, diced Can be any variety of your choice
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder For leavening
  • to taste Cinnamon For sprinkling on top

Method
 

For Chocolate Lava Cake
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips together.
  3. Stir in sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold in flour until just combined.
  5. Grease a ramekin with butter and dust with flour.
  6. Pour the batter into the ramekin.
  7. Air fry at 350°F for about 10 minutes or until the sides are set but the center is gooey.
  8. Carefully remove from the air fryer and allow to cool slightly. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream!
For Apple Fritters
  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  2. Add the diced apple and milk; stir until combined.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Scoop batter into the air fryer basket and flatten slightly.
  5. Air fry for about 7-8 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Once cool, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Enjoy!

Notes

To complement your desserts, serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. They can also be drizzled with chocolate or caramel sauce. Watch cooking times in the air fryer as they can vary. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days.
